Update on Pictures

This is a landscape oil that is in progress.  It is a 12 by 36 oil that I need to check the values on all around before it is ready for more....

This is a reference picture of a friend and her daughter which I will be painting...hmmm.  I love the warmth of the color and the feelings and hope to be able to capture it.

Photographer's Forum -- Finalist

 I was very excited to receive news that one of my flower photographs was a finalist in the student category at Photographer's Forum.  It was in the final 100 of roughly 13,000 student submissions.  What an honor.  It is the second picture below which was selected.
